Chaba being the Thai word for the Hibiscus flower, we are situated across two floors in what used to be the old Thai Orchid, just off the corner of The High Street and West St. Helen Street. Chaba Thai Restaurant is  family owned and run, opening  in March 2013. We strive to offer the very best in Thai Food to either enjoy in our redecorated, modern restaurant, collect as a take-away or have delivered to your home or work-place. Our Thai Chef and his wife have over fifty years experience between them, working in some of the best restaurants and hotels in Japan, Malaysia, Finland and now here in the UK. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients,  attentive and courteous waiting staff and a modern re-furbished restaurant area will ensure you enjoy every moment of your visit to us. Additionally we offer a Take-away service and delivery to your door subject to a minimum spend. We pride ourselves in being, what we think is the best local restaurant for Thai food , be-it Noodle Soups, Stir frys or traditional Thai curry ! Why not wash it down with a Coffee from one of our professionally trained Barristas or perhaps a Thai Iced Coffee or Smoothie with your meal or enjoy Thai Singha beer on DRAFT (very unsual for a Thai restaurant).
